Welcome to Dallastown Elementary!
My name is Whitney Bellomo, and I am honored to serve as the building administrator of Dallastown Elementary! Throughout my career in education, I have always believed that schools are at their very best when every child, family, and staff member feels connected to the school.
Before becoming an administrator, I spent over 20 years as an elementary school teacher, during which I developed a deep appreciation for the joy and potential that every child brings to the classroom each day. Those experiences continue to shape my leadership and remind me that relationships are the foundation of a thriving school community. I was also honored to be recognized as a finalist for the 2026 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year, an experience that reinforced my passion for serving students, supporting educators, and advancing excellence in education.
As both an educator and a parent, I understand the trust families place in schools. My husband, Jeff, and I are proud members of the Dallastown community, and our daughter will be entering her senior year at Dallastown High School. Having experienced Dallastown through the eyes of a parent, I have a deep appreciation for the traditions, opportunities, and sense of community that make our district such a special place.
At Dallastown Elementary, we are committed to cultivating a learning environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe that when we work together, we create meaningful opportunities for every child to discover their strengths and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, making memories with family and friends, and building puzzles. I am also a huge Disney fan. One of the greatest privileges of my role is getting to know our students and celebrating the moments, big and small, that make elementary school such a magical time.
